Plywood has many uses in furniture-making. Explored here is the idea of a see-through structure that can be shipped flat and assembled by the user. The empty spaces inside this reading chair can be used for storing books and magazines. The pieces left over from the production process can be made into complementary objects such as bookshelves and lights. The finished chair has the complexity of an open skeleton.
